I took tidbits from a bunch of sources and went with my gut on this one… and what I had in my pantry.


  • 7 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup wheat germ (I went with raw flake but any will work)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted raw pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup unsalted raw sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup Agave
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins

Directions:  Pre-heat oven to 350.  Mix all dry ingredients (except for the raisins) in a large mixing bowl.  Slowly add the Agave.  Mix together well (it may look dry but the Agave goes a long way so just keep mixing).  Pour into oven safe dishes being sure that only a thin layer is on the bottom of each pan- I used two 14×6 glass dishes and they worked well for this.  Place in pre-heated oven for 25 minutes being sure to stir every 10 or so minutes.  For those who like their granola to be crunchier, just add more time.  Let cool.  Add raisins and mix again.  Excellent to put on top of soy yogurt, sprinkle on coconut dairy free ice cream, or to enjoy with almond milk as a cereal.  Enjoy with family and friends!

Yields 9 one cup servings
