Asparagus is quickly becoming one of my favorite vegetables.  As long as you make sure it’s cooked long enough, it’s going to be great no matter what!  This is one of my own creations and so simple too!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch of Asparagus, white ends removed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp cold pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Directions:  Fill a medium sauce pan with water, place Asparagus in and bring to a boil.  Boil for about 3 minutes until the Asparagus turns a pretty bright green, remove from heat and drain.  In a separate pan, simmer garlic in oil until it starts to brown.  Add in Asparagus tossing and coating with oil.  Cook on medium high heat for 5 minutes until Asparagus starts to singe a bit.  Remove from heat and place in oven safe pan.  Broil in oven until tops brown and everything crisps up.  Enjoy with family and friends!
